Welcome to Worship!

There are 2 Services held each Sunday. Early service is held in the Crego Chapel during the school year and outside in the garden during the summer. Early service music is led by Andrew and Angie Weber on guitars and mandolin. The later service is held in the main Sanctuary and is a traditional service, celebrated with our Chancel Choir and soloists.

Summer Garden Service

Throughout the summer the 8:30 am service is held on the lawn in the Memorial Garden. It is locate just south of the the church at the southeast corner of Butler Place & Prospect Ave., adjacent to the parking lot, see aerial map

Please bring your own blanket or chairs for seating. We look forward to seeing you out there! Prefer church indoors? We also offer a traditional indoor service at 10:00 am each Sunday, all summer long!

If inclement weather occurs the service will be moved indoors.

Special worship services are held throughout the year; there is a Youth Service, Folk Music Worship, an Inter-generational Celebration, and a Jazz Worship service. Lay-led groups help to organize and lead these services. There are several holidays and Sundays with only one worship service at 10 AM. This allows us to meet and worship together as one church family.

Please check the church calendar for up-to-date information.

Nursery

Every Sunday morning and at various events throughout the year, childcare is available for young families. The nursery is available to parents with young children; providing a respite and an opportunity to more to fully engage in the worship service.

Sunday Nursery Hours:

September-May    8:30-11:15 AM

June - August        8:30-11:15 AM

The nursery is located downstairs and is equipped with all of the essentials. There are paid professional nursery supervisors for children under the age of 5. Security requires that parents sign their children into nursery care. When picking up after service, parents are also required to sign their children out of the nursery.

One of the nursery's best features is the Noah’s Ark themed mural throughout the room. Children love to point out the various animals and to imagine themselves inside this popular Biblical story.

Communion

Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month, with additional opportunities offered at special times of the year.

At PRCC, the communion table is open to all Christians who wish to know the presence of Christ and share in the community of God’s people. You need not be a member of our church or of any church to partake with us. Grape juice is used in order to be welcoming to all.

The Pastors presides over the serving of Communion and are assisted by our Deacons. All are welcome to take communion at our church regardless of age. At PRCC, parents are encouraged to decide when their children are ready to receive communion.

A three-week Holy Communion class is offered annually to prepare 2nd graders for their First Communion and teaches children about the meaning behind the sacrament.
