YOUTH GROUP: BELONG. BUILD.

Every Sunday 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Purpose:  A Christian community for youth to belong, building supportive and meaningful relationships through social activities, service projects, and discussing relevant topics.

Youth Group is our social ministry for middle school and high school youth. We gather weekly on Sundays from 11:30-1:00 with occasional social gatherings and trips beyond the church building. All are always welcome!

YOUTH MISSION TRIPS:

Denver - June 10-16

Milwaukee - July 23-28

Each summer, the youth partake in mission trips in diverse settings (local, rural, urban, & international). For the summer of 2023, the High School youth will be serving in Denver, June 10-16. The Middle School youth will be serving in Milwaukee, July 23-28.  You do not have to be a member of PRCC to participate in our mission trips! For more information on how to be involved, contact Pastor Mollie.

YOUTH LEAD: DISCOVER. UTILIZE.

Meets Monthly

Purpose: Discover individual leadership styles, how to collaborate with others, and utilize gifts through biblical leadership examples, team building activities, and spiritual gifts assessments.

Currently, Youth Lead meets monthly and is incorporated into the Youth Group schedule.

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sundays after the 10:00 am Service Children's Message

Purpose: A place to encounter, engage, and respond.

All youth are invited to Sunday School following the Children’s Message during the 10:00am Worship Services. Through the “Re:form” curriculum from Sparkhouse, youth watch a short video and engage in discussion, while enjoying donuts! Youth gather each week with the exception of the first Sunday of the month. On the first Sunday, youth remain in worship to partake in Holy Communion.

CONFIRMATION: ELEVATE. GROW.

Two-Year Program

Purpose: Elevate familiar Christian concepts into personal understanding and develop an ownership and commitment to grow in faith as a member of Park Ridge Community Church.

PRCC offers a two-year program for students’ in 7th grade and up to consider doctrine, theology, practical faith, and membership. Interspersed with these foundational studies, guest speakers discuss their personal life experiences, faith traditions, outreach, and service.

Confirmation reminds us of our baptism and God's presence in our lives: we respond by affirming that we belong to Christ and the whole People of God. Currently, the class meets for four intensive sessions throughout the school year.
