Lincoln Park Community Services

Assistance is needed to help prepare food for Lincoln Park Community Shelter. Our Lincoln Park Volunteers gather in the PRCC Kitchen to make dinner for approximately 35 people every first Thursday of the month. We start the preparations at 11:30 am and plan to be finished by 1:30 pm. “Many hands make for light work”, so please consider helping with this worthwhile project.

More about Lincoln Park Services

Lincoln Park Community Services is a comprehensive social service agency serving adult men and women who are experiencing homelessness, providing interim housing, meals, and a targeted array of services to over 300 people each year. The Interim Housing Program accommodates up to 35 guests each night year round.

In addition to meals and safe living space, the Interim Housing Program provides storage space, showers, and laundry facilities for guests. The average length of stay is seven weeks, although there is no time limit provided guests make progress toward their goals.
