Youth will partake in a morning activity at PRCC to prep us for our day. Then we will head to work at Avalon Park Community Church! We are so excited to build and strengthen our congregational relationship with them! Our day will conclude with a guided virtual tour of the International Civil Rights Center and Museum. This is an important day to pause and remind us of all the important works of justice still and yet to be done! Our work at Avalon Park will consist of cleaning, clearing out items, and organizing their space as they continue towards becoming a vital resource and space for the community! Breakfast and dinner are included. We ask that youth bring a sack lunch.
