Medical Lending Closet

The Medical Lending Closet is a service ministry of Park Ridge Community Church. Staffed solely by volunteers, the Closet provides a loan of medical equipment on a short-term, no fee basis to anyone in need in the greater community.
Some of the popular items available for loan: walkers, wheelchairs, bath chairs, raised toilet seats, crutches, transfer benches, sock aids, grabbers, deluxe walkers, commodes and more.
Equipment is loaned for up to three months (with the possibility of an extension). Loans are not meant to be permanent arrangements.

Sunday: Closed
Monday: 9:30 am to 12 pm
Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday: 9:30 am to 12 pm
Thursday: Closed
Friday: 9:30 am to 12 pm
Saturday: 9:30 am to 12 pm
*Please call ahead so we can make sure we have the item you need. An appointment is not required.
*Return equipment during lending hours. Please do not drop off at the door and leave.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Picking Up and Returning Equipment
Park in the Church parking lot just south of the church. After you exit your car, you will see a door immediately across Butler place. The door bell there rings in the Medical Lending Closet office. Ring that bell and someone will be with you shortly. When picking up or returning larger items, you can use the pull-in space adjacent to the canopied door.
Receipt and Release Form
This form is used to process all equipment loans. The borrower is asked to sign the form when picking up equipment. You can download this form and fill this out in advance or fill out the form in the Lending closet office.
Donations
We are currently only taking donations of specific items. Please call the Lending Closet to confirm that we are accepting your items. Monetary donations are never required but gratefully received as we purchase new items to replace broken equipment.
