Food Pantries

We collect non-perishable food items to stock this little Free Outdoor Food Pantry, which is open to our community members 24/7 to come and find items they need. Members of the church and wider community help keep this food pantry supplied. Donations may be dropped off in Butler Place Room.

PRCC will collects non-perishables for the Maine Township Food Pantry (MTFP) on the first Sunday of each month. The recently remodeled Pantry is open to residents of Maine Township from 10 am-1 pm on Tuesday and Friday and 2:30-4:30 pm on Wednesday. The Food Pantry provides food for over 400 families each month including a selection of dairy, meat, produce and other refrigerated and frozen items, as well as canned goods, household, and personal care items.
In addition, the MTFP partners with East Maine School District 63 to assist students from food-insecure families by providing weekend To-Go Bags to ensure access to adequate nutrition over the weekend.
Volunteers are needed to deliver monthly food donations collected on the first Sunday of each month to the Maine Township Food Pantry located at 1700 Ballard Road at Maine Township Town Hall. Food donations can be dropped off anytime that first week of the month between 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.
