What is Confirmation?

At Park Ridge Community Church, we are delighted to invite all students in 7th grade and above to begin, or continue, the meaningful journey of Confirmation. We are excited to walk alongside our students in this important season of faith formation. Pastor Carol and I will be serving as co-leaders, joined by dedicated mentors who are eager to support and guide each Confirmand.

So, what is Confirmation, and why be a part of it? Confirmation is a two-year commitment and a vital step in your personal faith journey. It is an opportunity to take ownership of your beliefs, to explore the meaning of faith in your life, and to consider the purpose of the Church in today’s world. Together, we will wrestle with big questions, discover deeper truths, and grow in understanding. Along the way, students will share in fellowship with Youth Group friends, participate in service projects, enjoy special activities, and celebrate milestones together.
