Rooted in Love
What does Luke’s gospel say about love and how we live our lives? In October, as we begin to focus on stewardship, we will consider what it means to be rooted in love, specifically, God’s love. And, if we are rooted in God’s love, how does that impact the ways we live our lives, care for others, and give back through the church? How are our various ministries rooted in God’s love? How does God’s love flow through us, producing fruits of the Spirit to benefit the world? Come and explore all of these questions and more through our worship series “Rooted in Love”!
Wicked: Making Sense of Good & Evil
This series focuses on making sense of good and evil in the world through the lens of the musical, Wicked!
God's Messy Family
Our next worship series is “God’s Messy Family: Finding your place when Life isn’t perfect.” We will consider the ways God has used imperfect people, talk through real family scenarios and provide support to one another.
Renew
In worship during June and in VBS, we will spend time considering the parable of the sower, what seeds have been planted, what gets in the way and how we can respond with faithfulness. As you play in the dirt this summer or admire the beauty of growing things around, I hope you will feel your spirit nurtured by these lessons in faith.
Abundant Life
During our Abundant Living Series, we will consider the Abundant Life that is available to us here and now, and we will also consider the abundant life that is to come in eternity.
Beauty For Ashes
Our Lenten worship, devotions, and bible study series will invite us to discover hope in the healing, as we consider the ways God takes us, just as we are, and restores us.
Forgiveness
Many people have trouble with the concept of forgiveness and fail to fully realize the freedom that comes from forgiving others, forgiving ourselves, and receiving God’s forgiveness. Freedom, grace, reconciliation, and joy are all promised to those who embrace forgiveness.
Grace Not Perfection
This January, we are starting a new series “Grace not perfection” as a way for all of us to step into this new year, not yearning for perfection, but rather to be people of grace. We will bask in the grace of God, offer grace to one another, and especially, receive grace for ourselves. It’s a new year, full of new beginnings, new possibilities, and new hope. Thanks be to God!
