Associate Minister

Stephen came to Park Ridge Community Church from Columbus, OH in 2004 when he began seminary at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary on the campus of Northwestern University. In 2006, Stephen became the Associate Minister with responsibilities including Worship, Christian Education, and Youth Ministry.

Stephen grew up in Olathe, KS and attended Ohio Wesleyan University (Delaware, OH) where he received a BA in Theatre. He was active on the stage and in commercials prior to entering seminary. In 2007, he received his Master’s of Divinity from Garrett and is currently a commissioned probationary elder in the United Methodist Church.

Stephen and his wife, Emily, have a daughter, Ellie, who occupies most of their time when they are not at the church. Stephen enjoys collecting Superman memorabilia and teaching people to use the yo-yo.
